Eligibility

The guidelines given by the UGC from time to time and Vidyapith's multiple exit-entry rules will be followed to determine the minimum eligibility criteria.

The general eligibility guidelines are as follows:

ü  For Entry to the 2nd year of a degree programme:

•     Students who opt to exit after completing the first year of their Degree Programme
from their parent university/ institution have secured a minimum of 40 credits and have been awarded a UG certificate.

•     In addition, they need to complete one vocational course of 4 credits during
the summer vacation of the first year.

ü  For Entry to the 3rd year of a degree programme:

•     Students who opt to exit after completing the second year from their parent university/ institution have secured a minimum of 80 credits and have been awarded the UG diploma.

•     In addition, they need to complete one vocational course of 4 credits during
the summer vacation of the second year.

ü  For Entry to the 4th year of a degree programme (Hons./ Hons. with Research):

•     Students who have completed a 3-year UG Degree with a minimum of 120 credits may be allowed admission to the 4th year of a degree programme.

•    Major/ minor course requirements have to be fulfilled as per the requirements of
a particular Hons./ Hons. with Research Programme.

•    Candidates seeking admission to the Hons. with Research Programme should have
obtained a minimum of 75% marks or a 7.5 CGPA during the three years of the degree programme.  Back to top of the page

    • Visit the admission portal and complete the online application form.
  • Step 2: Pay Application Fee
    • Pay the application fee online or through a Demand Draft (DD) in favour of 'Banasthali Vidyapith'.
  • Step 3: Upload Documents
    • Upload all the necessary documents.
  • Step 4: Admission Procedure  
    • Admission offers are based on merit.

Important Information

•      Banasthali Vidyapith offers lateral entry/admission in the 2nd and 3rd year of various UG programmes under the new education policy 2020 provision of UGC.

•      The Vidyapith offers direct admission to the 4th Year of the Hons./ Hons. with Research Programme to 3-year degree-qualified students

•      Admission to the Banasthali Vidyapith is open to women only.

•      A student admitted to the Banasthali Vidyapith has to compulsorily join a hostel of the Vidyapith unless the student is a ward of some worker of the Vidyapith and stays with the worker in the campus or the student belongs to a neighbouring village community.

•      Every student seeking admission to Banasthali Vidyapith has to submit an application in the prescribed format and pay the requisite application fee by the specified date.
