Minimum Eligibility:  BCA : 60% aggregate marks in SSE(10+2).  

- The minimum Eligibility for appearing in the Aptitude Test for students passing the qualifying examination from
   Banasthali University will be
50% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination. 
- The minimum Eligibility for appearing in the Aptitude test for SC/ST applicants for all these courses is 40%
   aggregate marks in the
qualifying examination.

Applicants who fail to appear in the Aptitude Test will not be considered under any circumstances.

Please note that there is negative marking. Each correct question has one mark, whereas a wrong question carries (-1/4) marks.  

Aptitude Test Syllabii and Sample Questions

Based on the performance in the aptitude test and the academic record of the qualifying examination the selected  candidates will be offered admission and shall be called on a specific date to complete admission procedure. The candidate must report for admission on given date, failing which the admission will be cancelled.

Candidates appearing for Aptitude test shall preferably have to produce their final result at the time of appearing for the Test or should arrange to send it to the institute latest by 4 June, 2009, failing which they will be treated as ineligible.

Banasthali University reserves the right to cancel the admission of any student, if it is found that their original documents were manipulated. Even if it is discovered that the student has hidden certain facts which would have rendered her ineligible, or found to be ineligible as a result of revision of marks at a later stage her admission shall be cancelled and she shall be separated from the University.

       Note:  1.If the credit point is awarded under category No. 1 - 4, total credit points will not be greater than 5%. If in addition  the credit points are also awarded under category Nos. 5-6, total credit points will not be greater than 7%.

                  2.Old students who have passed the last examination from the Banasthali University and have studied in the University for a period of 5 years or less will be awarded 5% credit points and for every additional year 1% credit.

                  3. Maximum credit points that may be awarded under all categories is 10%.

     

       Foreign/NRI Admissions

A limited number of seats are available for Foreign/ NRI candidates. Admissions against these seats are based directly upon the merit and the applicants do not have to appear in the Aptitude Test. The minimum eligibility for FOREIGN/ NRI candidates is 40% marks in the qualifying examination. 

The following documents are required for admission against Foreign/ NRI seats :
 

i) Original Certificate /Marksheet of the qualifying examination

ii) Attested photo copies of the passport and Visa of the applicant/guardian.

iii) Foreign Bank Account Number or NRI Account Number of the applicant/guardian.

iv) Declaration regarding Non-Resident Indian status of the applicant /guardian.
 

Once student is admitted in a programme as a foreign /NRI/ student then she will remain in this category for the full duaration of the programme.  University decision regarding a Foreign /NRI admission will be final and will have to be adhered to by the applicant.


Readmission : If a student is separated from Banasthali University or shri Shantabai Shiksha Kutir and in the event the University decides to readmit her, admission fee of Rs. 1000/- shall be payable. The admission of a student shall be automatically cancelled due to unauthorized absence of three days or more.

Absence without prior written permission of the University shall be treated as unauthorized absence.

The Educational Fee prescribed for Foreign/ NRI applicant for the session 2009-2010 is :

  Euros 2,800 p.a.


Admission against FOREIGN/ NRI seats is at the sole discretion of the Institute and the Institute may deny admission to an applicant without assigning any reason whatsoever.
